Chapter 56, Problem 3TYK
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
The primary productivity is the rate of production of biomass/energy by the plants in a particular geographical area. The plants are called primary producers. Organisms that obtain energy from primary producers are called primary consumers. After the primary consumer, comes the secondary and tertiary consumer in trophic level. In this manner, the energy flows from primary producer to tertiary consumer.
