To distinguish: The ways in which the Kissimmee River project is a more complete restoration (ecological), than the Maungatautari project.
Concept introduction: The ecosystems can be recovered naturally. This can be overcome with the help of various disturbances that had occurred by the various “ecological succession stages”. It is assumed that the ecosystems are not infinitely recovered. The ecologists therefore manipulate or identify various ways of the processes that help in limiting the recovery of ecosystems due to various disturbances. Certain examples of restoration projects are present, two of them are the Kissimmee River and the Maungatautari project.
