Chapter 52.4, Problem 2LO
Summary Introduction
To determine: The process of neurulation and somatogenesis.
Introduction: The zygote undergoes the process of cleavage where the furrow is formed which is accompanied by cell divisions. Following the cell cleavage, the zygote develops into a hollow mass of cells called the blastula. The blastula then divides to convert into a solid ball of cells called the gastrula, this stage forms the three germ layers called the mesoderm, endoderm, and ectoderm. This process is called gastrulation.
