Expert system:
- Expert system is a type of
information system that deals with thorough information offered by the experts in the corresponding field. - This system works similar to the decision making of an expert which takes decision based on the information provided by the experts.
- The knowledge representation is the process of obtaining the knowledge of experts based on the if-then rules, and the obtained knowledge of experts are put together along with the conclusion in the knowledge base.
- Expert systems are computer systems that try to minimize human experts by applying expertise in a particular domain.
- It can support either decision makers or completely replace them. It is the most broadly applied and commercially successful intelligent systems.
