Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

To assign the configuration of each chiral center and draw possible stereoisomers of given molecules by using its structure.

The chiral center and configuration should be identified for the given molecules by using its structure.

Concept Introduction:

The single chiral atoms or similar structural feature in a compound causes that compound to have two possible structures which are non-superimposable, each a mirror image of the other.

The enantiomers are chiral molecules that are mirror images of one another, these type of molecules are non-superimposable on one another. This means that the molecules canot be placed on top of one another and give the same molecule. Further chiral molecules with one or more stereo centers it can be enantiomers.
