Introduction :

Amino acids are the organic compounds made up of a carboxylic group, an amine group, and a side -R chain. They are involved in various processes in the body and are foremost in the synthesis of proteins or peptide chains. Moreover, many amino acids are used as chemical messengers. Such amino acids are γ-aminobutyric acid, serotonin, and melatonin. They are all neurotransmitters.
