Concept introduction: The musculoskeletal system of the body is composed of skeleton (bones and joint) and the soft tissues (muscles, ligaments and tendons). Muscle is the fibrous tissue that allow movement in the body. Tendons support the joint position in between the bones and muscles. Ligaments support the joints in between bones.
