Introduction:
Bone is the strongest connective tissue. The cells of bones i.e. osteoblasts contain calcium phosphate and calcium carbonate between them. The extracellular matrix contains bones of collagen fibers.
Cartilage is a strong connective tissue. The cells of cartilage i.e. chondrocytes are located in lacunae which are surrounded by extracellular matrix. This extracellular matrix is composed of collagen and elastic fibers embedded in a gelatinous ground substance
