Cilium is the organelle of a eukaryotic cell. It is of two types motile and non motile. The motile cilia help in beating fluid present outside the cell and non motile cilia serves as sensory organelle. The flagellum is a whip like long projection composed of microtubules. It helps in the propulsion of the cell.
