Myasthenia gravis, an autoimmune disease, may develop into cats, dogs, and humans. Individuals suffering with the disease experience severe fatigue with even small levels of exertion, drooping of facial muscles, and trouble keeping their eyelids open.
Introduction:
Myasthenia gravis is a neuromuscular type of autoimmune disease. Autoimmune disease is a medical condition in which antibodies are formed against self-molecules in the cell, mostly against the receptors. The antibodies are formed against acetylcholine receptors in the synapse of neurons and muscle cells.
