Question
Chapter 44, Problem 44.4CR
Summary Introduction
To analyze: The difference in the juxtamedullary and cortical nephrons with respect to the reabsorbing nutrients and concentrating urine.
Introduction: There are several types of nephrons present in different organisms. The desert mammals have long loop of Henle for regulating the concentration gradient of the ions. The ions concentration in the urine is high. The mammals living in humid environment have short loop of the Henle. The urine excreted is dilute.
