The full form of CSMA/CD protocol is Career Sense Multiple access with collision detection. CSMA/CD protocol has a right to transmit the messages in a bus network that is based on the Ethernet standards.
The CSMA/CD protocol is not applicable in a wireless network because the wireless antenna does not sense and receive at the same instant of time.
