Write one or more C++ statements that assign the correct value to discount, using the logic described here:
Assign .20 to discount if dept equals 5 and price is $100 or more.
Assign .15 to discount if dept is anything else and price is $100 or more.
Assign .10 to discount if dept equals 5 and price is less than $100.
Assign .05 to discount if dept is anything else and price is less than $100.

Using c++ write a program
: Write a program in C++ to handle the following scenario: Three friends Asif, Shahid and Bashir start the business. Input following from user.
Enter amount invested by Asif (user will enter any value)
Bashir’s contribution is equal to 250% of Asif’s contribution and Shahid’s contribution is equal to 75% of Bashir’s contribution. Display amount contributed by Bashir and Shahid. After 6 months business earned profit of 50% of total investment. Display the total profit and the amount each sharer will get (i.e. distribute profit as per percentage of their investment).
C++ Programming Exercise:
A real estate office handles, say, 50 apartment units. When the rent is, say, $600 per month, all the units are occupied. However, for each, say, $40 increase in rent, one unit becomes vacant. Moreover, each occupied unit requires an average of $27 per month for maintenance. How many units should be rented to maximize the profit?
Write a program that prompts the user to enter:
a. The total number of of units.
b. The rent to occupy all the units.
c. The increase in rent that results in a vacant unit.
d. Amount to maintain a rented unit.
The program then outputs the number of units to be rented to maximize the profit.

- Use C++ Codingarrow_forwardA salon offers coupons to its customers time to time. Without coupons adult haircut is 15.50 and the child haircut is 10.50. Coupons that this salon offers are color coded. The following table shows the color code and discount information Color code Green (code # 1) Blue (code # 2) Discount 3.50 from adult, 2.50 from kids 2.59 from adult, 1.50 from kids Write a C++ program that asks the user to enter the coupon color and the haircut type (adult, kid) and then determine the haircut charge. It is possible that a customers may not have a coupon, in that case, no discount will be offered. You can assume that green, blue colors are represented using 1 and 2 respectively. Write the program so it will generate the output as shown in the sample runs below where user input is in bold. Sample Run 1 Enter coupon color (0 = no coupon, 1 = green, 2 = blue): 1 Enter the type of haircut (a= adult or k = kid): a The charge is 12.00 Sample Run 2 Enter coupon color (0= no coupon, 1 = green, 2 = blue): 0…arrow_forward(Data processing) Years that are evenly divisible by 400 or are evenly divisible by 4 but not by 100 are leap years. For example, because 1600 is evenly divisible by 400, 1600 was a leap year. Similarly, because 1988 is evenly divisible by 4 but not by 100, it was also a leap year. Using this information, write a C++ program that accepts the year as user input, determines whether the year is a leap year, and displays a message telling the user whether the entered year is or is not a leap year.arrow_forward
- using c++ Write a program that computes and displays the charges for a patient's hospital stay. First, the program should ask if the patient was admitted as an in-patient or an out-patient. If the patient was an in-patient, the following data should be entered: The number of days spent in the hospital The daily rate Hospital medication charges Charges for hospital services (lab test, etc.) The program should ask for the following data if the patient was an out-patient: Charges for the hospital services (lab test, etc.) Hospital medication charges The program should use two functions to calculate the total charges. One of the functions should accept arguments for the in-patient data, while the other function accepts arguments for out-patient information. Both functions should return the total charges.arrow_forwardNote: C++ language Write a program that determines the price of an item after discount according to the following rule: if the original price is greater than 100.00 then the discount is 10%, otherwise the discount is 7% in Summer seasons and 5% in Winter seasons. The program should read: 1- the original price of an item and 2- the current season (s for Summer, p for Spring, f for Fall and w for Winter) and prints on the screen the price after the discount.arrow_forwardUsing C++ programming Language: Write the code for a game called “ASCII Strength” of a four-letter word selected by Player 1 followed by a four-letter word selected by Player 2. - C ++ Programarrow_forwardwrite a c++ programe :do it by flag Ask user to enter an integer and then determine whether it is even or odd? make a boolean variable that we call it flag. initially the flag is initilized by false or zero. if user enter a number that the remainder of devision of that number by 2 is zero, then you change the value of flag from 0 or false to 1 or true. then by if statement, you check the flag, if the flag is equal to true then you say: "an integer you entered is even", otherwise you enter: "an integer you entered is odd".arrow_forwardPlease give me correct solution.arrow_forward
