Summary Introduction

To review:

The main types of tissue found in the following: a ligament or tendon, a bone of the leg, a muscle such as the biceps of the arm, the brain, the flexible skeleton in the outer ear, the contractile wall of the heart, and kidney tubules.

Introduction:

The tissues are formed by the association of the cells which share similarity in the structures as well as functions. The four primary tissues of the body include epithelial tissue, connective tissue, muscle tissue, and nerve tissue. These four types of tissues have various critical functions in the body.
