Explanation of Solution
Using the provided scatterplots, it could be said that, the data points in the scatterplot of mathematics, SAT are more spread out than, the scatterplot of the critical reading of SAT. It indicates that there is a strong association between the college reading score and GPA of students than association between the mathematics, SAT and GPA of the students. It can be concluded that the critical reading SAT is a better predictor of GPA than Math SAT.
