Wavelength of light could be much shorter or much longer than a human eye can detect. Light are called electromagnetic waves because it is related to both electricity and magnetism. The range of different wavelengths of light called as electromagnetic spectrum.

The electromagnetic spectrum is divided into seven regions in order of increasing frequencies they are as follows:

Radio waves

Microwaves

Infrared

Visible light

Ultraviolet (UV)

X-rays

Gamma rays

Conclusion:

The frequency of visible light falls between ultraviolet and radio waves. Thus, option (e) is correct.

Infrared waves and radio waves both are on right side of visible region. Thus, option (a) is incorrect.

X- Rays and cosmic rays both falls on left side of visible region. Thus, option (b) is incorrect.
