Chapter 4, Problem 1FIB
Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Magnification is a process of enlargement of the image appearance of a specimen. The objective and the binocular lenses increase the overall system of magnification.

Objective can be a single lens or combination of lenses, which gathers light from the specimen and focuses the light rays to produce the image. They always consist of 10×, 40×, and 100× powers.

The eyepiece lenses of a microscope are called as binocular lenses through which a single objective lens is used.
