The effect on the ability of fibroblast to produce collagen in the absence of vitamin C in diet.

Introduction:

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is an essential component of diet. Mainly it is found in citrus fruit such as orange, lemon and so on. Though it is needed in small quantity but its deficiency can cause significant damage to the body. It is a water soluble vitamin thus; its biological half-life is quite short.
