I don't think that email has made writing more difficult. Globally, Emails are being used to communicate and the key to communication is to convey the message in a concise manner. Business emails cannot be informal as it conveys a message. An ideal email would be clear, concise and crisp. Writing an email is a talent and everybody does not possess it. But it can be learned. Emails are reflections of one's professionalism, values, and attention to details. One must always check the tone of emails and proofread before you click "send".
