The chaparral biome is characterized by mild winters and warm summers. The biodiversity of chaparral is small trees and small shrubs. The chaparral soil contains low nutrients. The precipitation rate of chaparral biome is low. The low rainfall only supports the growth of shrub and trees. The low rainfall does not support the growth of woody and large plant.
