Summary Introduction

Concept introduction: Antigen-presenting cells that are also called the accessory cells are the cells that display the antigen complexed with major histocompatibility complexes on their surfaces. This process is called antigen presentation. T cells have the ability to recognize this complex using their T-cell receptors. The examples of APCs include dendritic cells, Langerhans cells, macrophages, and B cells.
