Summary Introduction

To determine: The level of blood urea in a patient whose kidneys were functioning normally but whose liver has failed.

Introduction: A kidney is made up of numerous filtering units known as nephrons. Urine is the product of the excretory system that carries excess water and other excess molecules. Liver is the largest gland in the human body that is often referred to as “metabolic or chemical factory” of the body. It has numerous metabolic and secretory functions.
