Introduction:
Fertilization is the process of combining the male gamete and female gamete (sperm and egg) for the production zygote. The development of embryo in human is occurring after the fertilization. Fertilization occurs in fallopian tube and involves four major steps: (i) sperm contacts the egg, (ii) sperm penetrate the egg, (iii) egg becomes activated and developmental changes begin, and (iv) sperm and egg nuclei fusion.
