Introduction:

The process of phosphorylation is explained as a reaction in which phosphate molecules are added. This is an endothermic reaction. This energy is stored and used during de-phosphorylation. The phosphorylation reaction occurs in two different ways − Substrate level Phosphorylation and Oxidative Phosphorylation.
