Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Light contain dual natures, as it contains both “wave and particle” properties. According to Albert Einstein, light is a small “packets of waves”. These wave packets are termed as “photons that contain some specific wavelengths that are combined within them”.

Perception of light is of three types: color, brightness, and saturation. Eyes help to see and view different objects by forming the image on the retina, a part of the eye that serves as a screen for the purpose of image formation. It consists of photoreceptor cells, such as rods and cones cells that are responsible for image formation during day and night. The eyes contain cornea, retina, iris, and pupil that processed the light.
