Introduction: Lipids are a collection of organic compounds that include fats, cholesterol, and so on. They supply more energy than carbohydrates. These molecules are involved in the formation of the cell membrane and steroid hormones. Lipids are involved in digestion, absorption, and energy storage. They provide insulation as well as protection to the cells.
