Introduction:
Olfactory receptor is chemoreceptor which means smell. The olfactory sensitivity is different in different mammals that is depends on its sensory receptor cells. The olfactory receptors are found in the epithelial tissue neurons at the upper portion of the nasal cavity. It consists of dendrites from which thin and long cilia extended inside a mucous layer that covers the epithelium.
