An amniotic egg is found in reptiles, mammals, and birds. The animal that possesses an amniotic egg is known as amniotes. Amniotic eggs have amnion that protects the embryo. The embryo is surrounded by a fluid-filled membrane called amnion and the fluid is known as the amniotic fluid.
