Introduction:
The lymphatic system includes the lymphatic vessels that carry clear fluid called lymph and the lymphoid organs. The lymphoid organs are further divided into primary lymphoid organs and the secondary lymphoid organs. The primary lymphoid organs are responsible for development and maturation of lymphocytes. The secondary lymphoid organs are the sites for activation of lymphocytes.
