The behavior of any species in the world changes with the environment, with the people around and even the hormones can influence the behavioral pattern. Hormones are correlated to the behaviors and emotions which change the mood of the person by releasing certain chemicals in the body.

Some factors, which are responsible for the behavior, are given below:

The neurotransmitter like dopamine can change the mood to a pleasurable mood which transmits the signals from brain and neurons.

The hormones like adrenaline, cortisol and melatonin hormones control the fear emotions. When a person is stressed, the cortisol hormones are released. The stress causes the chances in the behavior and long term stress may lead to depression, anxiety and personality disorders.

Gonadal hormones like estrogen, progesterone and testosterone are produced by the reproductive organs like ovaries and testes. These hormones affect the mood of the person.

Hormones are interrelated with the behaviors and can regulate the emotions causing a variety of mood swings that can cause an imbalance with a mix of depression, anxiety and other related emotions.

Conclusion

The balance and imbalance of the hormones causes behavioral changes in humans and also in animals which can cause happiness, sadness, stress, anger, anxiety and give a mix of other emotions.
