Osmoregulation is the process by which the body fluids in an organism are regulated. It is a process of homeostasis where the solute and ion concentration of body fluids are maintained and the internal body conditions is also maintained. Osmoregulation is done by the removal of nitrogenous waste from the body and by the process of sweating through skin that regulate the solute concentration.
