Introduction: A water right is the right of the farmer to divert water from a water body for his agricultural use. The water rights can be sought from the water authority to allocate the required amount of water needed for irrigation. Large companies are now buying water rights from farmers to fund to the cities where overpopulation and water shortage are always issues.
