Introduction: Primary producers prepare their food through the process of photosynthesis such as green algae and plants. Photosynthesis is a process of fixing carbon dioxide by the synthesis of metabolic compounds. Light and optimum temperature is necessary for fixing carbon dioxide. The process of fixation of carbon dioxide is responsible for primary production.
