Interpretation:

Comparison between Dalton’s model and the nuclear model of the atom should be determined.

Concept introduction:

Dalton’s atomic model suggested that all the matter were made of atoms which are supposed to be the indivisible blocks. While all the atoms of a particular element were the same, various elements had atoms having differing mass and size.
The nuclear model of atom suggested that the atoms have a dense, tiny core having a positive charge which is known as the nucleus. Almost all the mass of the atom is concentrated in the nucleus and the negatively charged particles known as the electrons surround the nucleus and these electrons revolve around the nucleus in a fixed circular path said to be the orbit much like the planets revolving around the sun.
