Concept introduction:
The term “cytoplasm” consists of the fluid present inside the plasma membrane and contains various organelles. These organelles include mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, and the golgi apparatus. The term “cytosol” means the fluid portion of the cell having water, ions, solutes, and the metabolites inside the cell.
