Summary Introduction

To describe: The reason for using two culture tubes for analysis.

Introduction: The experts in the field of microbiology are called microbiologists. They are involved in identifying and studying the different forms of pathogens. Their role is to understand the habitats and interaction of the pathogens inside the host. By doing so would provide accurate insight into the causative agents of the disease and its possible treatments.

Explanation of Solution

Two culture tubes are required for the microbial analysis. One culture tube is used to identify and view the particular microbes of interest by following the specific microscopical and staining techniques. The other culture tube is used for performing the other serological analysis that includes biochemical and immunological assays. Having two culture tubes would provide sufficient availability of the sample specimens for analysis with minimal possibilities of contamination.
