Summary Introduction

To determine:

The reason behind the usage of sterile distilled water in place of sterile isotonic saline to irrigate the surgical wound from where the tumor is removed.

Introduction:

The tumor is defined as the abnormal growth of cells, which results in swelling and formation of a lump of tissue. It can either be benign or malignant. The benign tumors consist of noncancerous cells whereas the malignant tumor contains cancerous cells which can spread to various parts of the body.
