Closing entries are prepared to close the temporary accounts at the end of the accounting period. There are four closing entries as follows:
- Closing the revenues
- Closing the expenses.
- Closing the income summary or net income.
- Closing the dividends/withdrawals.

Precision Industries Incorporated is a manufacturer of electronic components. When a purchase order is received from a customer, a
sales clerk prepares a serially numbered sales order and sends copies to the shipping and accounting departments. When the
