The game of “23” is a two-player game that begins with a pile of 23 toothpicks. Players take turns, withdrawing either 1, 2, or 3 toothpicks at a time. The player to withdraw the last toothpick loses the game. Write a human vs. computer
- If there are more than 4 toothpicks left, then the computer should withdraw 4 – X toothpicks, where X is the number of toothpicks the human withdrew on the previous turn.
- If there are 2 to 4 toothpicks left, then the computer should withdraw enough toothpicks to leave 1.
- If there is 1 toothpick left, then the computer has to take it and loses.
When the human player enters the number of toothpicks to withdraw, the program should perform input validation. Make sure that the entered number is between 1 and 3 and that the player is not trying to withdraw more toothpicks than exist in the pile.

- Python tic tac toe. Tic tac toe is a very popular game. Only two players can play at a time. Game Rules Traditionally the first player plays with "X". So you can decide who wants to go with "X" and who wants to go with "O". Only one player can play at a time. If any of the players have filled a square then the other player and the same player cannot override that square. There are only two conditions that may match will be a draw or may win. The player that succeeds in placing three respective marks (X or O) in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row wins the game. Winning condition Whoever places three respective marks (X or O) horizontally, vertically, or diagonally will be the winner. Submit your code and screenshots of your code in action. The rule of the game is that player 1 inputs a random number from 1-100. Player 2 will input 5 numbers. If the summation of those numbers is equal to the number OR less than or greater than the number by 3 (+3 or -3), then player 2 wins. Otherwise, player 1 wins. Test Case 1 Input Player 1, enter a number: 50 Player 2, enter a number: 10 Player 2, enter a number: 10 Player 2, enter a number: 20 Player 2, enter a number: 5 Player 2, enter a number: 7 Output Player 2 wins Explanation: The summation of 10,10,20,5 and 7 is 52 which is greater than 50 by 2. According to the rule, player 2 wins. Test Case 2 Input Player 1, enter a number: 50 Player 2, enter a number: 10 Player 2, enter a number: 10 Player 2, enter a number: 20 Player 2, enter a number: 5 Player 2, enter a number: 1 Output Player 1 wins Explanation: The summation of 10,10,20,5 and 1 is 46 which is less than 50 and also doesn’t…arrow_forward
- There are a dozen eggs in a basket; some are hard boiled and some are raw. The object of this game is for the user to guess the number of hard-boiled eggs prior to playing the game. The computer then simulates cracking all 12 eggs, using a random number 0 or 1 to simulate raw or hard boiled. The number 0 should represent raw eggs and the number 1 should represent hard boiled. The computer must keep track of the number of hard-boiled eggs. At the conclusion of cracking all 12 eggs, the actual number of hard boiled is compared to the user’s guess, and whether the user won or lost is given as output. PreviousNextarrow_forwardGame Description: Pig is a game that has two players (in our case one human and one computer) that alternate turns. Each player’s goal is to get 100 points rolled on a normal six-sided die first. Each turn consists of the rolling the die repeatedly until you get a 1 or decide to stop. As long as you roll a 2-6, you will add this amount to your total for that turn. But if you roll a 1 during your turn, your turn ends and you receive zero points for that entire turn (erasing all of the progress you made since you last agreed to stop). If you decide to stop rolling at any point in your turn, your points for that turn are then added to the overall score. The overall score is then safe from future rolls. The trick is knowing how long to push it before we should stop and save our gains. See end of this document for an example of a game of pig we should write coding as below In order to explore what is the best strategy for the computer player (i.e. at what score do we stop each computer…arrow_forwardIn Javaarrow_forward
- A video player plays a game in which the character competes in a hurdle race. Hurdles are of varying heights, and the characters have a maximum height they can jump. There is a magic potion they can take that will increase their maximum jump height by unit for each dose. How many doses of the potion must the character take to be able to jump all of the hurdles. If the character can already clear all of the hurdles, return . Example The character can jump unit high initially and must take doses of potion to be able to jump all of the hurdles. Function Description Complete the hurdleRace function in the editor below. hurdleRace has the following parameter(s): int k: the height the character can jump naturally int height[n]: the heights of each hurdle Returns int: the minimum number of doses required, always or more Input Format The first line contains two space-separated integers and , the number of hurdles and the maximum height the character can jump naturally.The…arrow_forwardWrite a program that plays a dice game called "21" It is a variation on BlackJack where one player plays against the computer trying to get 21 or as close to 21 without going over. Here are the rules of the game: You will play with dice that have numbers from 1 to 11. To win, the player or the computer has to get to 21, or as close as possible without going over. If the player or computer goes over 21, they instantly lose. If there is a tie, the computer wins. Starting the game: The player is asked to give the computer a name. For now, we'll simply call the computer opponent, "computer." The game starts with rolling four dice. The first two dice are for the player. These two dice are added up and the total outputted to the screen. The other two dice are for the computer. Likewise, their total is outputted to the screen. Player: If a total of 21 has been reached by either the player or the computer, the game instantly stops and the winner is declared. Otherwise,…arrow_forwardWrite a program that plays a dice game called "21" It is a variation on BlackJack where one player plays against the computer trying to get 21 or as close to 21 without going over.
