Introduction:

AIDS is one of the most dangerous and severe diseases. AIDS stands for “Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome”. The causative agent of this disease is a virus called “human immunodeficiency virus” or HIV. It is a type of retrovirus. This virus can cause a deficiency in the immune system of the body. The role of the immune system is to protect the body from harmful pathogens.
