Introduction: Protists are found in a variety of habitats such as the ocean, hot springs, polar areas, host organisms and so on. They generally reproduce by asexual means. They produce a structure known as cysts during their reproduction. Cysts are composed of only one cell. They are made up of a thick cell wall.
