Concept introduction: Chlorarachniophytes comprises of a small group of the cercozoans. These possess secondary endosymbiosis and are mixotrophic. These organisms ingest small protists and also perform photosynthesis. Aerobic algae also perform the process of photosynthesis and cellular respiration.
