Plant kingdom is divided into two groups. The two groups are cryptogams and the other group is called phanerogams. Phanerogams are flowering plants or the plants that produce flowers. They are gametophytic plants. Cryptogams are the plants that are sporophytic and reproduce by means of spores. Cryptogams are non–flowering plants.
