The patient is unable to speak for himself, and Mr. L daughters did not allow removal of a ventilator or issued do-not-resuscitate order. The patient’s daughters wanted to try acupuncture on the patient but the health care provider did not allow the CHA. Hence, the student nurse must step in to take the necessary actions.
