Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

As the human DNA contains approximately 30.4% of A (Adenosine), the percentages of G (Guanosine), C (Cytosine) and T (Thymine) has to be estimated.

Concept Introduction:

The DNA molecule is made up of nucleotides which consists of Nitrogenous bases, Sugar molecules and Phosphate ions.  The Nitrogenous bases are two types: Purines and Pyrimidines.  The Purine bases are Adenine and Guanine.  The Pyrimidine bases are Cytosine and Thymine.  In the formation of the DNA molecule the bases are paired with each other (Purine base with Pyrimidine base).  The pairing occurs as A-T and G-C, the Adenine base containing nucleotide is paired with the Thymine base containing nucleotide and Guanine with Cytosine.

The base pairs A-T are present in same ratio in the DNA molecule and G-C are also in same ratio.
