To explain: The probable function of given bacterial protein known as trigger factor.

Introduction:

The precursor of $\text{OmpA}$(outer membrane protein A), a secreted bacterial protein is ProOmpA. For secretion, it has an amino-terminal sequence. If the denaturation of  ProOmpA is carried out using 8M urea, which when removed by gel filtration column,  ProOmpA is able to translocate to inner membranes of bacteria. If $\text{ProOmpA}$ is incubated first in absence of urea, then translocation becomes impossible.
