Our eyes feel restful to gaze off into the distance when objects are at least 6m away.

Explanation of Solution

The human eye feel relaxed when the viewing object is at least 6m away but when we gaze at the nearer objects the lenses of our eyes have to contract due to this there is tension in the muscles of the eyes and our eyes start feeling tired after sometime but when we gaze at distant objects our eye muscles are relaxed and are not in tension.

The human eyes are designed to feel relaxed when the object is at the optical infinity.

Conclusion:

Therefore, our eyes feel restful to gaze off into the distance when objects are at least 6m away.
