Introduction:

Nutrition is the basis of all life activities, and it is taken care of by the process called metabolism. In metabolism, the raw materials are taken up and undergo the digestive process by breaking down the large molecules into small biomolecules. These small biomolecules are further absorbed by the intestinal cells and provides energy to all living things. Nutrients are considered as the energy-giving substances; some substances, such as sugary substances and alcohol, have no calories.
