Introduction:
The reproductive hormones plays an important role in the regulation of growth in both male and females. Two most important hormones which acts as generators of sexual activity are estrogen and testosterone in female and male respectively. These gonadal steroids (estrogen and testosterone) when secreted at puberty promotes growth by increasing the secretions of growth hormone (GH). But these hormones subsequently also causes the epiphyseal closure.
