Formula:

The velocity of an electron in the presence of an electric field and the magnetic field is

  v=EB    ......(1)

Calculation:

Substitute 3.6×106m/s for velocity (v) and 5.8×105V/m for the electric field (E) in equation (1).

  v=EBB=Ev=5.8×105V/m3.6×106m/s=0.16Wb/m2
